Utilize Survey Timers To Spice Up Engagement And Response Rates

timer

Survey Timer was a feature of Survey Analytics for a period of time, but it has now been made available to everyone who love Timer.Live. I'll admit that when I heard about it, I didn't understand the concept. I didn't understand the potential advantages that having an online survey that was timed. To get more details and clarification regarding this issue I spoke to Aditya Bhat, our director of sales. Here's a brief glimpse of our conversation.

What is Countdown Timer?

Countdown 23 minute timer is an option that sets an amount of time for an online survey. Respondents are required to complete the survey within a specified period of time. The survey will be closed when the timer expires. Every response is considered incomplete. The maximum limit of time is 60 minutes.

Your survey shouldn't be scheduled to expire.

You can improve the quality of your responses by answering questions within a specified time frame. One of the most common scenarios is a questionnaire.

A Quiz Survey?

Surveys aren't just useful for determining what people think. They can also be useful in finding out what people's knowledge is. The use of the 45 second timer enhances their focus on the subject. Respondents often quit surveys when they click on the extreme ratings, for example, the highest, lowest, or even right down. Often these responses can't be utilized. Adding a timing feature increases the engagement of participants and their participation.

What is the benefit?

The biggest advantage of this feature is to reduce drop out rates. Participants must complete the survey as soon as they start it as there is a timer. The survey is not able to be completed and leave their desks etc.

Who do you see using this feature most often?

Market researchers and those who run Employe satisfaction surveys. It is easier to collect accurate information if you require employees to answer the questionnaire within a certain timeframe. They will not have time to think or alter their responses.

The trend in gaming is then being followed by a countdown clock

We're sure you've read our blog posts and you've probably noticed that we are a fan of Gamification. It's a way to make surveys more interesting and more enjoyable. Brands are increasingly using games to interact with their fans and customers. Mobile and online surveys are also getting in on the action.
